Your phone number is essential for securing your account, logging in easily, and activating subscriptions with mobile operators.
✅ To link your phone number to your account:

Open the Anghami App

Go to Settings > Mobile Number

Select your mobile operator and enter your phone number

Wait for the verification code via SMS

Enter the code to confirm and link your number
Note:
If you're already subscribed through your mobile number (via operator billing) but it's not linked to an Anghami account, simply add the number manually — your subscription will be automatically activated on that account.
🔄 To change your linked phone number:

Changing the phone number is not possible if you have an active subscription via your current number/operator. You must first cancel the subscription, wait for it to expire, then proceed with the change.

If you are not subscribed through operator billing, you can follow the same steps above to update your number.
Important Tips:

Phone number login and linking only work for MENA region operators.

You cannot use international numbers to log in or receive verification codes.

If you're outside the MENA region, use your linked email or Facebook account to log in.

Always use a phone number you own — do not use someone else’s number or log in from another person’s phone.
