I Tried to Restore My Apple Subscription and Got the Message "Regrant Failed."

If you see the error "Regrant Failed", it's usually due to using different Apple IDs for downloading Anghami and for purchasing your subscription.

Causes

  • You downloaded Anghami using one Apple ID, but you're now logged in with another.

  • You purchased Anghami Plus with one Apple ID and are now trying to restore it with a different one.

This is an Apple-related issue, not caused by Anghami.

Solutions

Option 1:

  • Delete the app.

  • Log out from the App Store.

  • Log in again with the Apple ID used to purchase Anghami Plus.

  • Re-download Anghami.

  • Restore your purchase from the app.

Option 2:

  • Skip Restore and tap Subscribe using the same Apple ID linked to your original purchase.

  • You won't be charged again — Apple will detect your existing subscription.

  • You might need to reinstall the app after logging in with the correct Apple ID.
