Troubleshooting Anghami on Android

If you're experiencing problems with the Anghami Android app, follow the steps below. After each step, test the app — the issue might already be resolved!


✅ Step-by-Step Solutions:

  1. Restart your phone
    Fully power it off, then turn it back on.

  2. Update the app
    Go to Google Play Store and check for an update. You might be using an old version.

  3. Log out and log back in

    • Open Anghami

    • Go to Menu > Settings

    • Tap Sign Out, then sign in again

  4. Free up storage space
    Go to Settings > Storage and make sure there's enough space available.

  5. Test your connection
    Switch between WiFi, Mobile Data, and Airplane Mode, then try again.

  6. Clear app data (Your Likes & playlists stay safe. Downloads will be removed but can be restored)

    • Go to Settings > Apps > Manage Apps > Anghami > Clear Data

    • To restore downloads: Menu > Settings > Auto-downloads > ON

  7. Clear app cache

    • Go to Settings > Apps > Manage Apps > Anghami > Clear Cache

  8. Reinstall Anghami

    • Settings > Apps > Manage Apps > Anghami > Uninstall

    • Reinstall from Google Play Store

    • Don’t forget: Menu > Settings > Auto-downloads > ON to restore downloads
